Overview

Whether you have an entire facility full of Motor Rollers and Zero Pressure Accumulation or just a few Roller zones, this software tool is the ideal solution for controlled stopping of all or just certain sections of your facility.

Until now, the only way to stop a zero pressure accumulation system is by dropping the power to the entire system. After powering back up, product may have slid on the conveyor; boxes may have been stranded between sensors or any number of other issues. This can be frustrating if you are tracking product along the conveyor.

With ConveyStop, there's no need to shut down the entire line, or drop power to the entire ZP motorized roller conveyor system. ConveyStop can be used to configure a single or group of modules into logical stop zones. Every unused ConveyLinx modules can be configured to become a "ConveyStop" input. The remaining unused inputs can be configured to become a "Reset" input. The stop input is then wired to a traditional pushbutton or relay to physically stop the conveyor motion when activated. When the stop input in active, conveyor motion is inhibited. Clearing ConveyStop is simple, just inactivate the "Stop" input and energize the "Stop Reset" input.

ConveyStop configuration software is used to "group" ConveyLinx modules into specific stop zones. The number of ConveyStop groups is only limited by the number of modules used. A single ConveyLinx module by itself can even be split into two different groups, meaning the left port can be on a separate stop zone than the right port. When ConveyStop is activated all conveyor motion is halted immediately and the transition status of items moving between zones is logically maintained, including package tracking data!
