Overview

CRSC (Can Roller Speed Control) modules are the backbone of the ConveyTrax® MDR control system architecture. CRSC cards allow you to distribute logical control to even complex devices. This allows you to enjoy the advantages of peer-to-peer control, as well as eliminating the need for a large, central panel, and all the wiring that goes with it.

CRSC cards have been designed with you in mind. Our plug-ins (pre-programmed routines) handle up to 95% of the conveyor functionality you'll need for picking, distribution, shipping, and other warehouse applications. True to the ConveyTrax® promise, you never need programming to operate or configure your CRSC cards.

CRSC cards also commutate any manufacturer's rollers. You are no longer locked into buying the roller manufacturer's commutation cards!

Details

The CANopen Roller Speed Control (CRSC) provides an integrated control solution for motorized driven roller applications using the CANopen protocol. The module can be configured to perform any of several conveyor functions, including linear, transfer, merge, diverter, and RAT.

The core of this system is the CANopen Roller Speed Control, which is designed using the CANopen protocol to provide maximum system functionality and allow the peer-to-peer communication needed for distributed control. Smart functions are built into the module to provide control of various operational modes of conveyor.

The CRSC modules feature closed loop speed control technology, which allows you to maintain consistent conveyor speeds under variable loads.
